Throughout the years, we have achieved a number of key milestones including being listed in Qatar stock market in 2001, establishing the “Doha Takaful” Islamic arm of the Group in 2006, and doubling our capital twice in a couple of years from QR 127,000,000 in 2007 to QR 257,400,000 in 2013 and then to QR 500,000,000 in 2016.
As Chairman of the company, I am honored and privileged to spearhead Doha Insurance Group, to lead the market while contributing to the development of the economy and the people of Qatar.
Moving forward, we aim to continue developing strategies that would greatly benefit our shareholders, enhance our services for our clients, contribute to the growth of the national economy by playing a major role in optimizing the performance of the national Insurance sector, and be amongst the main players in implementing Qatar vision for 2030.
